Primary Practices

Kelsey R. Holmberg is an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Business Practice Area and Corporate Transactions Group. She is also a member of the firm’s Corporate Transparency Act Task Force and serves on the steering committee of Hahn Loeser’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Kelsey’s practice focuses on corporate transactions, governance, and strategy. She works on a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracts, entity formation and restructuring.  She also serves as outside general counsel for several of her clients.

Kelsey has represented clients of all sizes, from large multi-national enterprises to entrepreneurs launching new ventures. Her practice spans industries such as real estate, technology, manufacturing, sports, entertainment, fashion, and beauty.

Kelsey has a diverse professional background that allows her to act as a strategic partner to clients. Prior to her legal career, Kelsey spent time working for Midwest-based venture capital and angel investment firms as well as serving five seasons in an analytical role within the Cleveland Browns front office. During her final year of law school, Kelsey worked as a legal extern for Haslam Sports Group, working under the General Counsel of the Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew.

Kelsey graduated summa cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law, while simultaneously receiving her M.B.A. from Cleveland State’s Monte Ahuja College of Business. While at Cleveland State, she served as the president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Association, president of the Dean’s Leadership Fellows Executive Board, and as a managing editor on the Global Business Law Review. Holmberg received her B.A. from Case Western Reserve University, graduating summa cum laude as a double major in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship.  As an undergraduate, she was the recipient of numerous academic honors and prizes and was a four-year member of the Varsity Women’s Swim team.
