John Blackwell is an associate in Hahn Loeser’s Litigation Practice Area and focuses on complex commercial litigation. John’s experience spans commercial arbitration, federal court civil rights litigation, and creditors’ rights in bankruptcy. His practice also includes handling construction lien foreclosure claims.

During law school, John completed an externship with the general counsel’s office at Penn State University, focusing on American Disabilities Act (ADA) and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) issues.

John earned his J.D. from Penn State Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and earned CALI Awards in both Legal Writing and Bankruptcy. He was also an articles editor for the Penn State Law Review. John earned a B.A. from Louisiana State University.
