Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is proud to announce the addition of Julian Veintimilla, who joined the Columbus office as an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Veintimilla focuses on commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement actions, investigations, and environmental litigation.
“Julian should be a great fit in our Columbus office,” stated Litigation Practice Group Chair Rob Remington. “He enhances our existing litigation capabilities, particularly in the environmental litigation arena.”
Veintimilla advises clients facing potential liability under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). He also has experience in the chemical manufacturing and transportation sectors dealing with issues ranging from contract disputes to tort liability.
Earning his J.D. from Cornell Law School, Veintimilla was an articles editor for the Cornell International Law Journal and a Moot Court Board Member. He earned his B.A. from The Ohio State University, graduating magna cum laude in 2014.
Veintimilla also served as a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Dan A. Polster of the Northern District of Ohio. In this capacity, Veintimilla was the primary law clerk responsible for assisting Judge Polster in overseeing the National Prescription Opiate Litigation, a multidistrict litigation encompassing over 3,000 opioid-related lawsuits across the U.S. involving various parties such as drug manufacturers, distributors, and national pharmacy chains.
