Hahn Loeser Labor and Employment associate Jeradon Z. Mura was selected to the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down Cleveland Class of 2025. Mura will take part in a year-long program that provides direct training and career development through a combination of coaches, sponsors and participants to empower women lawyers in three critical areas: leadership, business development and mentoring.
Mura guides clients through legal issues during an employment relationship, from hiring through termination. She counsels clients on employment-related matters, drafts employment agreements and policies, and conducts training on employment matters. Mura also advises on insurance coverage questions and represents clients in automobile and trucking litigation.
Tailored to take on particular challenges female lawyers face in today’s business environment, Ladder Down Cleveland runs from January through November. Coaches provide training in improving leadership and empowerment; learning the best practices for business development; enhancing the ability to self-promote; and learning how to pay it forward to other women lawyers. In addition, female law firm partners, in-house counsel, judges and other female leaders engage with the class through a series of panel discussions and other events. The program also includes periodic accountability sessions, where coaches work with class members in focused, small groups to help create and execute leadership and business development plans.
