Hahn Loeser Partner, Benjamin M. Cooke, executed a recapitalization transaction for Linden Polyurethane, a private company based in Akron, Ohio. Linden was recapitalized by SAIP Advanced Polyurethane Equipment, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of polyurethane processing systems. The acquisition expands SAIP’s product range and strengthens its presence in North America. At the same time, Linden will leverage SAIP’s global presence and expand its engineered product reach in the European and Asian markets. Associates James P. Oliver, C. Daniel Miller and Law Clerk Soumil Desai assisted with the transaction.

Linden Polyurethane (formerly Linden Industries), founded in 1985, is a U.S.-based global polyurethane processing equipment and machinery manufacturer. Linden was acquired by independent sponsor Mainspring Holdings and its principal, Jon Cocco, in 2019. Mr. Cocco has operated the business as its CEO since the acquisition. Linden specializes in highly customized designs of polyurethane metering, processing, distribution, and storage systems for applications ranging from EV batteries to military warships. In addition, Linden is a market leader in service and repair for all makes of polyurethane equipment. Mr. Cocco will continue to serve as the Company’s CEO.
