Evenchik, Siedlarczyk Prevail in Arbitration Securing $1.5M for General Contractor

Hahn Loeser Construction Attorneys Aaron S. Evenchik and Colten J. Siedlarczyk, secured an award exceeding $1.5M for their client after a four-day arbitration hearing. In this dispute, Evenchik and Siedlarczyk brought claim on behalf of the general contractor seeking damages for roof leaks blamed on the roofing subcontractor. Evenchik and Siedlarczyk defeated roofing subcontractor defenses claiming force majeure or that the general contractor failed to mitigate damages. At the end of the hearing, the arbitrator ruled in favor of Hahn Loeser’s client.
