Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP is pleased to announce that partner Eric B. Levasseur has been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF). The CMBF is the charitable fundraising arm of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA), raising critical dollars for the association’s nationally recognized “Lawyers Giving Back” public outreach and pro bono legal services programs. Levasseur will be sworn in at the CMBA’s Annual Meeting on Friday, June 7. He will serve a three-year term on the Board of the CMBF commencing on July 1.
At Hahn Loeser, Levasseur is a seasoned commercial litigator with significant first and second chair trial and arbitration experience. Levasseur designs strategies that guide clients from the pre-litigation planning stage through the highest levels of appeal. He represents companies and individuals in state and federal trial and appellate courts across the country and is experienced in pre-litigation claim strategy and avoidance, complex commercial contract and business disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, business tort and negligent claims and non-compete and employment agreements.
Levasseur has long served as a judicial panelist for the CMBF’s mock trial and moot court programs. He is actively involved in the American Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Lawyers Guild of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and the William K. Thomas Inn of Court.
